Lisa Edelstein was an American actress who is best known as the star of Fox's House medical drama. She grew up in Wayne where she was a part of a traditional Jewish tradition. As a teenager, 18, she emigrated to New York City to study at Tisch School of the Arts. Soon after, she was involved with club culture and caused enough fuss to attract the attention of the media. She then merged her talents and fame the ability to write and compose to create a show called Positive Me. Awake on the Wild Side was her next assignment. Once Awake on the Wild Side was no longer being aired, she began acting in movies as well as on TV, starting with short role. Gradually, her career in acting increased.
