Meagan Good's mother Tyra was a teenager working in Panorama City as a manager as well as her father Leondis Leon Good, a policeman in LAPD. Her acting career began at the age of four. Originally from Texas Killmer was an undergraduate at Baylor University in Waco Texas which she graduated with an B.F.A. In performing arts, her degree that she earned in the year 2010. She began her screen career with the web series If I Can Dream. Following her appearance in several local productions, Kara Killmer made her on-screen debut in 2010 in the pilot part of the Simon Fuller's Hulu series If I Can Dream. The reality series revolved around an ensemble of artists that move into a house in Hollywood California.
