Sheryl-Underwood

Sheryl is an American actor, comedian and TV host, and most famous for hosting the popular daytime chat show The Talk. She was born and brought up within Little Rock. Sheryl has the midst of a difficult background. She grew up taking care of her older sister Frankie. Frankie was a victim of polio. When she was a child, she had an uneasy relationship with her mother. Sheryl claimed that at one point her mother had attacked the father of her child as she was getting close to the father. After her graduation from college, Sheryl was a soldier in the military. But, she was interested in the field of comedy. In 1989, she was the first female to make it to the finals of the Miller Lite Comedy Search contest. She began her TV work in 1992 by being a regular performer on HBO's comedy show Def Comedy Jam. She was the host of the TV show Oh Drama! in 2000. Presently, she is a guest co-host for Talk Talk since 2011. Also, she's appeared in fictitious show like Bulworth Niki as well as Beauty Shop.
