Sheryl-Underwood

Sheryl Underwood, an American television host, comedian and performer best known for hosting the popular daily talk show The Talk. She was brought up by Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl comes out of the midst of a difficult background. She grew up taking care of her sibling Frankie. Frankie was a victim of polio. She faced a lot of problems with her mother as she was growing as a teenager. Sheryl said that in one instance, her mother had stabbed an uncle of her daughter as she was too close to the father. Sheryl, after graduating college, joined the army. Her interest was in comedy. She became the very first woman to win the Miller Lite Comedy Search in 1989. In 1992, she made her TV debut with regular appearances on the HBO show Def Comedy Jam. In 2000, she hosted The show Oh Drama! She has appeared as host on The Talk since 2011. She's also appeared in fictional shows such as Bulworth Niki and Beauty Shop.
